This was among the things Moses prayed to God. We have the privilege to see and learn from his conversation with God. He asks God to satisfy the morning with his unfailing love, so that all the days may be joyful. This shows us that there is power in the morning, power in the start of a day; power in the start of a school, job, business, project and more. When we ask God to be with us in the beginning, He honors that, and will not just be there in the beginning, but all our days.
Whether we are starting our day or a different season in life, we too should learn to honor these beginnings by inviting God to be with us. This would help us walk confidently in our purpose, knowing we included Him from the time we started the journey. This will also help us when we face challenges on the way, knowing that we run back to Him because that is what we did from the beginning. May this truth set us free, as we walk in freedom and victory, all the days of our lives.
PRAYER
Loving Father, You are good and You desire to give us good things as Your children. Your unconditional and unfailing love goes beyond what we would ever know or understand. Thank You for choosing us over and over again, despite our shortcomings. Thank You for Your abundant mercy and grace that draws us closer to You with each new day. Thank You for Your unchanging truth, shaping and transforming our lives to be the people You have created us to be. As we learn to honor our beginnings by inviting You to be with us, give us grace, strength and courage to succeed in this. Even for the days, seasons, and opportunities that we have already started, we surrender them to You today, because You know our hearts. Help us not keep walking in ignorance, but shine Your Light of truth, so that we may walk in the power that Your word brings. We submit all our mornings and beginnings into Your hands, for every area of our lives, as we invite You to be with us in this journey. As You give us boldness through the countless victories in this journey of life, may You alone get all the glory. We pray all this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
